Varun Dhawan shared the new teaser of his movie October, directed by Shoojit Sircar and also starring Banita Sandhu. Not much is shown or spoken in the 30 second clip, which sees Varun facing a clump of trees as the sun shines on him and Banita looking out of a window, but its still lovely, and feels like another heartwarming story by the director who made the wonderful Piku. October is going to be released on April 13 2018. Shoojit has become one of the best directors in the Industry, as his stories have the realism that is hard to come from all the glitter and glow of Bollywood.
He made the critically and commercially successful Piku, which featured a career best performance by Deepika Padukone, and wonderful turns by Amitabh Bachchan and Irrfan Khan, it was also able to crack the 100 crore club even without any of the colorful songs or action scenes, star power of the Khans or embellishments that are usual the case with every successful movie in the industry.
October is one of the most anticipated movies of the year, as it will be quite a departure for Varun Dhawan, who is mostly known for comedies and action movies. It will also be a showcase for the newcomer Banita. Shoojit always creates great characters for his actors and if everything is to believed, this could be another great opportunity for Varun and Banita to showcase their talents.
