Dangal famed director Nitesh Tiwari will now direct prolific Sushant Singh Rajput in the lead role of the film. Details of the project is being kept under the tree but it could be a story of three characters the lead of them will be played Rajput. Nitesh Tiwari’s Dangal is literally the most successful film of India cinema hence it would not have been difficult for producer Sajid Nadiadwala to bet on him. Unlike Nitesh’s Sushant’s last film was a colossal disaster on he box office by the name of Raabta and it met with one of the worst reviews of all time.
Sajid has several films lined up as a producer the latest of which is Baaghi 2 which will release on March 30, the slot was earlier booked for Sanjay Dutt biopic. Sushant has a few films line up the latest of which is Drive which will release in April also starring Jacqueline Fernandez and produced by Karan Johar. Sushant, right now is shooting for his upcoming film Chambal and later he will complete Kedarnath also starring Saif Ali’s daughter Sara Ali Khan. One with Sushant will be Nitesh Tiwari’s fourth film after Chillar Party, Bhoothnath Returns and Dangal.
Shooting of this yet untitled project will begin around August or September this year and release date is not announced yet. Nitesh Tiwari has not worked with Sajid Nadiadwala but as a producer his track record of hit films is somewhere around 95 percent and his undoubtedly one of the most successful producer of all time in the history of Hindi cinema. This project has a lot of credible names attached to it and rest of the casting including supporting roles and female protagonist will be started soon. Nitesh is working on the final draft of the screenplay and waiting for Sushant Singh Rajput’s date to begin the film.
