Third international trailer for Spider-Man: Homecoming was recently released , the video portrays Tom Holland as Spider-Man as he grows in confidence with his powers. In one sequence, he helps an elderly lady and gets a churro as a reward.
There is a pretty dramatic scene in Washington, D.C., while we also see some of Michael Keaton’s evil Vulture and Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark aka Iron Man, who will be playing Spider-Man’s mentor in the movie. Bullets, missiles and fireworks fly bersek as the new Spiderman learns his chops from the old master Ironman.
The Marvel movie also sets the scene for induction of Spidey into the Avengers gang that has done very well in recent times. This trailer definitely gives us a better look at Spidey’s souped-up Stark Industries suit (which has already proved divisive among some fans on the internet), and a better look at Donald Glover’s character.
The film has a global release set for July 7, and also features Marisa Tomei, and Donald Glover. It’s directed by Cop Car‘s Jon Watts, who said recently that the film has a “unique, surprising” tone that will set it apart from the films that came before it.
