Needi Naadi Oke Katha movie review: Film forces drama with Sree Vishnu’s bad performance

Needi Naadi Oke Katha is a Telugu film starring Sree Vishnu and Satna Titus though they are not sure what they are doing in it. It must be very difficult for actors to play one dimensional roles but given the dramatic moments, Sree Vishnu could not do anything about it. His expressions and the rhythm of performance is so incredibly fake that his performance should have been edited out simply to make the film shorter. Most of the film deals in realistic comedy where actor is put in situations which are inherently and he just has to speak his words.

Prolific actor Nawazuddin Siddique pointed out in saying that there is a lot of con work going in cinema about realistic acting where actors decided to simply not act and seem disinterested in the moment thinking that they are being real. In actuality the job of an actor is to keep the audience interested in the scene at all times by creating such an atmosphere and this is where Sree went very wrong. In the shadow of a lethargic performance he tried to pull the act of a realistic one which definitely did not work out.

As long as the film is light noted supported by other characters and a background score it is alright but the moment it gets dramatic Sree has no idea what he is doing. He played a loser man-child who can’t focus on anything in life let alone his studies and is a reason of worry for his parents. Things take a dramatic turn in life where he has to make big boy decisions and struggles with it. Story and direction of the film is very average and presents nothing new on screen which contributes to cinema. Overall this film does not deserve any attention that could be put in something meaningful.
