Finally the day is here. Movie buffs are finally going to get an answer to the question that has been lingering on their minds for several months now: Why Kattappa killed Baahubali? And as if the wait wasn’t enough, people just can’t wait to catch the ‘first day, first show’ of ‘Baahubali: The Conclusion’. I just couldn’t wait to get the mystery solved and hence, I booked for first day, first show. Since I watched Baahubali: The Beginning, I have eagerly been waiting for this-said Neha, who is sure that people, who have seen the first part will definitely watch the magnum-opus. It’s like a necessity. They cannot stay without seeing that what actually happened in the complete story-she added. Another fan, who feels the sequel will finally gratify the cinephile sense in him, said, I am very excited about the film because of the mystery that will be solved and also because the scale of the film is pretty grand. For some, more than the excitement, it is the chaos that brought them to the cinemas on the first day itself. There is a lot of chaos around it. There are only two things on everyone’s mind in office: IPL and Baahubali. It was also difficult to get the tickets, said a movie-goer.
The filmakers of Baahubali has always claimed to the audience that whatever we saw in Bahubali:The Beginning was just an introduction. Baahubali 2: The Conclusion is a continuation of the first part starting just where it ended. Yesterday when the movie was not even released, UAE critic Umair Sandhu rated the movie as five star. He compared the CGI in Baahubali The Conclusion to “Hollywood greats” like Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter.
Sandhu gives perfect ratings to all actors in the movie and is particularly awed by Prabhas who plays the main protagonist Amarendra Baahubali and Mahendra Baahubali in both the movies.
If we talk about the CGI used in the film, then Baahubali 2 is easily comparable to the Hollywood greats like THE LORD OF THE RINGS series and even the HARRY POTTER series that featured entire towns, cities and regions artificially developed to look realistic. Compared to the usual Indian standard of CGI work in films, the effort and detail that went into making BAAHUBALI 2 is visibly evident in the stunning waterfalls, the spectacular city of Mahishmati, and the sheer cliffs.
Now lets come to the main interest of the movie that is Why Katappa Killed Bahubali? The movie starts with the Rajabhishek of Bahubali. The problem arrived in the family because both Baahubali and Bhallalla fell in love with the same girl. Then due to some reasons bahubali was declared as treason. When Shivagami(rajmata) asked Bahubali to make a choice between the throne and the girl(Devsena), he chosed his lady love Devsena and then Bhallalla was made the king. But then also they were not satisfied by the decision made by Baahubali of quitting the throne as he was still famous across the kingdom which left them with only choice to kill bahubali. To make it happnen they pursuaded Shivagami to believe that Bahubali tried to kill Bhallalla by plotting a fake massacre of their soldiers along with king. Shivangami believed it and gave instructions to katappa to kill bahubali secretely as she cant order his killing publically because of his followers in whole kingdom. This is the reason Bahubali was killed.
