Femina Miss India 2017 : Haryana girl ‘Manushi Chhillar’ wins title, ‘Sana Dua’ from Jammu is the first runner-up

India got a new set of beauty queens as the winners of the 54th Femina Miss India 2017 pageant were announced last evening at a starry event held at Yash Raj Studios in Mumbai. The hosts for the evening were Karan Johar and Ritesh Deshmukh, who are now pros in hosting high-profile ceremonies and both of them did a splendid job.

Let us take a look at who walked away wearing the crowns at the end of the evening. The second runner-up was the charming Priyanka Kumari from Bihar where as the stunning Sana Dua from Jammu and Kashmir was crowned the first runner-up.

Manushi Chhillar from Haryana won the prestigious title of Femina Miss India World 2017. Take a look at the three winners in all their glory.

This year the competition was held with a change in format that saw participants representing the states of the country including the north- eastern states vying for the crown. These contestants were divided zone wise and were mentored by previous Miss India winners. The four mentors were Neha Dhupia for the North zone, Waluscha De Sousa for the west zone, Dipannita Sharma for the east zone and Parvathy Omanakuttan for the south zone.

The judges for the evening included Stephanie Del Valle, Miss World 2016 from Puerto Rico, Manish Malhotra, Arjun Rampal, Abhishek Kapoor, Illeana D’Cruz, Vidyut Jamwal and Bipasha Basu who had a tough job at hand choosing from among these talented set of beauties who had dynamic personalities.

The star studded evening also saw live performances from the likes of Alia Bhatt, Sonu Nigam, Sushant Singh Rajput with Ranbir Kapoor making an appearance too. These electrifying performances served as great entertainment in between all the different rounds of the competition.

The finale will telecast on Colors channel on July 9 from 1 p.m
