Kangana Ranaut’s never seen before avatar in the movie Manikarnika has created a lot of buzz on the social media within a few days. The movie Manikarnika is a biopic on Rani Laxmibai which was in the mind of the film-maker for many years now. The movie has been directed by Krish. Kangana has been preparing for this role for a long time. But Ketan Mehta’s project somehow couldn’t be worked out and the film was shelved. But with the new crew for the film in place now, Kangana also has been vigorously training for her part which involves lessons in horse riding, sword fights and other combat skills.
Recently, it was heard that the movie Manikarnika will also featuring the television actress Ankita Lokhande who is also well known as Sushant Rajput’s former lady love. As per the reports,Kangana will take the honor to launch Ankita in the movie. As the information and knowledge tell us, Rani Laxmibai’s maiden name was Manikarnika and she was born in Varanasi in 1828 to a Brahmin family. So the makers thought launching the movie in Varanasi would be apt.
Ankita Lokhande showed her happiness for being the part of the movie, and also making her comeback in the Bollywood industry. Ankita Lokhande is also known by her serial character name Archana as she featured in the daily soap Pavitra Rishta opposite Sushant Singh Rajput.
Ankita’s Bollywood friend Karanveer Mehra also congratulated her for her achievement to work in the movies that too with Kangana Ranaut.
The movie has been directed by Radha Krishna Jagarlamudi aka Krish of Gabbar is Back fame and veteran writer V. Vijayendra Prasad is said to have scripted the movie. Prasoon Joshi has penned the dialogues and lyrics, where as Shankar Ehsaan Loy are said to be composing the music for this film.
The movie is set to release on 27th April, 2018.
