As the sources tell us, R Madhavan might unite with the famous director Mani Ratnam for the forth time in his entire career. Although he hasn’t finalized the cast for his next yet untitled Tamil Project. “Mani sir is in talks with a few actors and this includes Madhavan. But he hasn’t signed anyone yet and the process will take a few more weeks,” the source told IANS. Mani Ratnam and R Madhavan has worked together previously in Tamil movies like Alaipayuthey, Kannathil Muthamittal and Aayutha Ezhuthu. Talks around the corners reveal that Ratnam is not making a romantic film. He is exploring a different genre and it won’t be another romantic flick this time. Also, the film might feature two male protagonists.
Santosh Sivan the cinematographer has also joined hands for the sixth time with Mani Ratnam in this project of which the shooting will take place in the month of September. In the mean time, R Madhavan will be seen in the Tamil movie Vikram Vedha along with Vijay Sethupathi. In the Tamil movie, Madhavan will be seen playing the role of a cop who is plotted to catch the local don Vedha, the role which will be portrayed by Sethupathi. The movie Vikram Vedha has been directed and written by Pushkar and Gayatri.
With this Madhavan will also be seen in the movie Chanda Mama Door Ke alongside Sushant Singh Rajput in the lead role and Madhavan will be seen playing the role of a pilot. There is no such other information about the movie. Stay tuned with us for all the latest updates!!
