Mala Kahich Problem Nahi movie review : Working people marital relationship consultancy

Mala Kahich Problem Nahi is a Marathi drama film staring Spruha Joshi and Gashmeer Mahajani. Mala Kahich problem Nahi is the story of average middle class working couple who seem to have lost passion and desire in their lives and hence can’t keep each other happy. Film traces the story of the couple from their bachelor days in love to them getting married. They had a love marriage against the complete will of their parents and made a life together. After staying together for years and having a baby they lost interest in each other and rather started living a mechanical life on autopilot. As they were very busy in their corporate jobs trying to make a career they somewhat ignored llittle things of their spouses.

Issue like this very common in metro lives of 21st century and the film address just that. Story of the film is simple and endearing with predictable plot points but they are already shown in the trailer as a part of the narrative so it is hardly a surprise. Screenplay and dialogues are penned down very carefully and revolves strictly in U rated boundaries of censor certificate. Film looks a bit stretched during pre-climax but makers have managed to put some light in the predictable climax by adding realistic moments of innocence.

Direction follows the script in a quintessential Rajshri productions way. Performances are rather mediocre though Spruha Joshi has manage to imbibe the character of a working woman stuck between the conflict of a dying marriage and rising career. She is the one to initiate and express the emotions going in both of them which leads to a break down in the couple’s relationship. Music hits the required emotions at the perfect place in any given seen and kudos to editing for that. Mala Kahich Problem Nahi is a mediocre story of regular people problems which could be the choice of weekend if there is nothing better to be engaged in.
