A major part of Indian film industry is being affected for weeks now since the strike in Tamil film industry is indefinite. Films are not releasing or being shot and growth has stopped all of a sudden in one of the biggest film industry of the world. Mahesh Babu starrer ‘Bharat Ane Nenu’ will be releasing in 5 days and it is not sure if the film will be released in Tamil Nadu. So many of Mahesh’s own films have been remade in Tamil and got dubbed to release which makes him a huge name in the state for audience.
Mahesh recently did his first bilingual by the name of ‘Spyder’ which was shot simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu as it did very good business in Tamil region. Producers will be suffering substantial role if ‘Bharat Ane Nenu’ does not get a release in Tamil Nadu. Babu has not seen a legit box office superhit for a while now and this one sure intends to be but perhaps not with a fractured release like that. Tamil and Telugu market work simultaneously as far as cinema is concerned because cultural aesthetics are quite similar.
A huge loss would have to be suffered by the film even if it is good because of not getting the desired release and Babu’s fans in Tamil Nadu would be hugely disappointed as they wait for his film to release. Film basically has a wide mass appeal as one politician is taking on the corrupt system and there could not have been a more correct time for this film to release since the nation is primarily sick of it’s politicians. Situation of exhibition and distribution scenario in Tamil Nadu is not clear yet and they might not open the gates for Babu because they already have so many of their own film not getting a theatrical.
