Legendary actor Dilip Kumar turns 95 today

Veteran actor of Hindi cinema, Dilip Kumar, turned a year older today. Saira Banu, Dilip’s wife, updated his fans about his health and revealed his birthday plans on twitter in late evening. Legendary actor Dilip Kumar turned 95 today. Saira Banu shared the latest picture of the actor and wrote “Dilip Saab is better and has been treated for pneumonia. Allah ka shukar hai. Gonna post latest pic in next tweet”.

She further tweeted from the twitter account of Dilip Kumar, “Message from Saira Banu: On Dilip Saab’s birthday, as we get together as a family with Saab’s brothers, sisters, relatives and some close friends, my thoughts reach out to all the wonderful fans and well wishers for the duas and prayers for Dilip Saab. A million thanks.”

Bollywood superstar, Salman Khan, tweeted to wish Great Dilip Kumar, “Happy birthday #DilipKumar saab Love, May God bless you with good health.” Also the King Khan tweets on the 95th Birth anniversary of Dilip Sahab, “Here’s wishing thespian @TheDilipKumar avery happy birthday. May Almighty give long and healthy life to the legend of Indian Cinema. #HappyBirthdayDilipKumar“.

Expressing her gratitude for all the prayers and thoughts showered upon Veteran actor Dilip Kumar a series of the post comes on Twitter of his fans and well-wishers.

He was born in Peshawar which is now in Pakistan, as Muhammad Yousuf Khan. He was further touted as the `ultimate method actor` by Oscar winning director Satyajit Ray. In 1991, Dilip Sahab was awarded by Padma Bhushan, in 1994 he was honoured by Dada Saheb Phalke award and in 2015 he got the Padma Vibhushan for his contribution to Indian cinema.

In August of this year, he was admitted to the Lilavati Hospital due to dehydration and urinary tract infection. Now his health condition improved and he was taken back by their family to his home.
