‘Le Musk’- AR Rahman’s directorial debut

The great musician AR Rahman after freezing his foot in the music industry, is now ready to make his debut in the field of direction. A. R. Rahman’s works are noted for integrating Indian classical music with electronic music, world music and traditional orchestral arrangements. Among his awards are two Academy Awards, two Grammy Awards, a BAFTA Award, a Golden Globe, four National Film Awards, fifteen Filmfare Awards and fifteen Filmfare Awards South. He has been awarded the Padma Bhushan, the third highest civilian award, in 2010 by the Government of India.

With his directorial debut, he launched a movie titled “Le Musk” as well as the production company behind it, Ideal Entertainment in Canada.Rahman’s other production venture along with Ideal Entertainment is titled ’99 Songs’which is directed by Vishwesh Krishnamoorthy also saw its official launch at the grand event that had some breathtaking music by the Mozart of Madras.

Rahman released first posters of his much-awaited virtual reality movie ‘Le Musk’. The first poster of the film features protagonist Nora Arnezeder clad in a red outfit. And the second poster shows a child staring right outside apparently in some shock.

As per the rumours going around, we get to know that Le Musk is a musically immersive Virtual Reality movie which in English is supported by a combination of sensory experiences to take you to places you have never been before.

The movie has been written, directed and scored by AR Rahman. The cast of the movie are as follows:

3.Munirih Jahanpour
4.Mariam Zohrabyan

The fil has been shot in rome. The film revolves around an orphaned child Juliet who is known to be a part time musician.

According to the reports, Rahman himself has penned the film’s story along with his wife Saira Rahman. Movie is co-produced by Rahman Under YM Movies Productions banner and Canada-based production house Ideal Entertainment. It is one of the world’s first cinematic Virtual Reality immersive narratives.
