It hasn’t been long since the item song by Sunny Leone for Sanjay Dutt’s comeback movie Bhoomi was released, and now the happy shades of the movie have been revealed as the song Lag Ja Gale. The song seemed to be a modern avatar for the legendary Lata Mangeshkar classic when the first poster for the song was released.
However, the Sachin-Jigar composition is a fresh new track, and the voice of Pakistani singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan gives it just the right amount of electricity to drive die-hard romantics crazy. The lyrics have been written by Priya Saraiya, and the song has hit a nerve with fans as YouTube views have surged. The picturisation of the perfect romance has been set in and around the Taj Mahal in Agra, a symbol of love around the world.
Aditi Hyadri Rao and Sharad Kelkar’s onscreen chemistry in the track makes the music video really endearing, and the composition is top of the line as well. Sharing the song on her Twitter page, Aditi wrote, “Lose yourself to ? with #LagJaGale from @BhoomiTheFilm in the intense voice of @RFAKWorld.” The song apparently depicts the actors’ life before tragedy hits them and turns everything upside down. The movie itself is a revenge drama, and besides Aditi and Sharad, it stars Sanjay Dutt, Sidhant Gupta and Shekhar Suman.
The movie has been produced and directed by Omung Kumar, under the banner of T-Series. The first teaser was released on August 10, and since then the movie has generated a lot of buzz, especially because it is Sanjay Dutt’s first movie since the Munnabhai star got out of jail. The movie releases on September 22.
