Lae Dooba song from Aiyaary shows Siddharth Malhotra romancing Rakul Preet

Lae Dooba is a song from upcoming film Aiyaary starring Siddharth Malhotra and Manoj Bajpayee in lead roles. Lae Dooba is a romantic number in which Rakul is falling in love with Siddharth’s character while Siddharth is completely unaware of the romantic aspect and he is just being a friend to her. Aiyaary is directed by Neeraj Pandey, who has made films like Baby, Special 26, M.S. Dhoni the untold story. Neeraj is working with Manoj for the second time after their successful collaboration in Special 26 though he is working with Siddharth for the very first time. It is also the first time when Siddharth is playing an army officer or working with Manoj.

Trailer of Aiyaary released a few days ago and faced brilliant reception from the audience for it’s originality and Manoj’s exceptional dialogue delivery. Siddharth has had a bad patch of films recently with A Gentleman not working upto the mark at all and failing to recover it’s primary investment. Director Neeraj is on all time high post the success of Dhoni starring Sushant Singh Rajput and he also produced Toilet: Ek Prem Katha starring Akshay Kumar last year which went onto do huge box-office numbers.

Neeraj and Akshay have collaborated many times before as they are also building a cinematic universe with the Baby franchise post it’s spin off Naam Shabana. On 26 January, 2018 Aiyaary will be facing competition from Akshay Kumar’s much awaited Padman on box-office and since both the films have enjoyed good audience reception from their respective trailers both of them will be cutting down their audience eyeballs. The audience base of Neeraj Pandey and Akshay Kumar is exactly the same and those people will now be deciding between Padman and Aiyaary. Both the films are issue based which is directly related to the socio-political environment of the country hence they want to cash in on the republic day weekend as did last year by Raees and Kaabil.
