After Kriti Sanon and Pooja Hegde, Kriti Kharbanda has joined the star cast of ‘Housefull 4’. She is the third female lead in the film and the latest person to join the star cast after Bobby Deol. Akshay Kumar and Ritesh Deshmukh are reprising their roles as they did in all the parts before this one. Director Sajid Khan is finally coming back to helm the franchise he created as a mammoth comedy blockbuster machine. Sajid Khan had a very public fallout with his producer/friend Sajid Nadiadwala and as a result of it Farhad-Sajid got to direct part 3, which was a big hit.
Two friends patched things up and how as ‘Housefull 4’ is literally the biggest comedy film ever made in India over the budget of 150 crores being released in 3D. Sajid has turned the film on his head in the second part with a rather elaborate star cast that includes Kapoor family and John Abraham as well. Some common factors are Johnny Lever and Chunky Pandey who always make their presence felt in an otherwise weaker cast for this one. Bobby was having a rough patch in his career and now all of a sudden he is in ‘Race 3’ and this one as well.
In one of his interviews Bobby said that back in the day Nadiadwala wanted to work with him but he could not make it possible and the table has completely turned now as he went to Sajid’s house asking for some work. Both of his upcoming films are potential blockbusters which maybe able to bring back his career though he is not the one headlining these films but rather a part of ensemble. It’s a smart way to pursue the career because currently he does not have enough audience back up to run a commercial film by his own.
