The popular adventure competition reality show, Khatron ke Khiladi season 9 is going to begin shooting soon, as the contestants leave for Argentina, country where the show is set this year. The show is going to be hosted by Director, Rohit Shetty. As is always the case, the show is joined by 11 popular contestants from different fields of entertainment industry. One of the most notable is Shamita Shetty, actress, dancer and the sister of Shilpa Shetty. She has participated in Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa before, and Bigg Boss. Aditya Narayan, the singer and failed actor has also joined the cast of contestants. He is the son of legendary singer Udit Narayan, and has worked in shows like Entertainment Ki Raat, while also hosting musical competitions like Sa Re Ga Ma Pa.
Vikas Gupta, perhaps one of the best known contestant/winners of the reality show, Bigg Boss is also coming to take part in the show that is going to test the fears of its contestants. Aly Goni, the actor famous for his role in Ye Hai Mohabbatein is also joining the show. Punit Pathak, the choreographer who has slowly risen in the rank of dancers in India, and Ridhima Pandit of Bahu Hamari Rajnikanth fame will also be seen in the show.
Married couple Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbaachiya are also included in the cast, while television actor Zain Imam, was the first to confirm his involvement in thee show. Bandgi Kalra, another popular contestant from Bigg Boss is going to join the Balika Vadhu star, Avika Gor and Dil Se Dil Tak actress Jasmin Bhasin. The show, as the name suggest, is about how to overcome some of the primal fears for the human beings, and includes stunts which vary from intensity, and can be about animals to heights to underwater games.
