So, it might seem shocking to see him get emotional after watching a clip of his old college at Sherman College of Nanital that brought back old memories of his father, Harivansh Rai Bachchan, and how he’d once supported him when Amitabh couldn’t attend a play that he was supposed to be doing. The clip also contains children singing Happy Birthday for Mr. Bachchan and it is a very touching tribute to a living legend.
Amitabh has plans for his birthday, to travel to Maldives with his family and celebrate it without any interruption from the media, but it was still wonderful for an actor of his stature look so vulnerable and grateful for his extraordinary career.
