Kamal Haasan made it official that he won’t be signing any film after his much awaited ‘Vishwaroopam 2’ and the sequel of one of the biggest hit in the history of Tamil cinema by the name of ‘Indian 2’. Sequel to his 1996 classic Indian was much awaited and this film made Kamal the pan India superstar he is. In Indian he portrayed the role of a father and the son simultaneously with the help of prosthetic to get him the older look and the response to that film was unbelievable.
Vishwaroopam 2 might release sometime in 2019 though fans will have to wait for a little longer to see what happens with the story of Indian. The reason behind this decision of Kamal is his interest towards politics, which will end up taking most of his time as he is clearly looking at the chief minister’s post of Tamil Nadu which won’t be easy to get considering Rajini is also in the race now. Both the superstars of Tamil cinema are racing towards some of the last films of their career because being a serious politician would not allow them to make the films with as much intensity and time.
Lately, Kamal has said that alliance with Rajini might not be possible if he will be joining Bharatiya Janata Party. Rajini has said that he will be eyeing 2021 CM elections and going by the audacity of his fan following it will not be easy for Kamal or anyone to win the election against him. Rajini will be coming with his upcoming film Kaala on 27 April and after that he has already completed his shoot for 2.0, which is the sequel to 2010 blockbuster Endhiran. 2.0 was suppose to release on 14 April but makers pushed the release date as the visual effects are taking a little too long to get completed. Even Rajini has not signed up for any more films.
