Jumanji: Welcome to the jungle review of expectations from the adventure

Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle is one of the most anticipated release of Dwayne the rock Johnson. Jumanji has set itself very big as a film franchise already with Robin Williams when it used to be a board game and Rock converted it into a video game. Premise of the film is simple to understand from the trailers and various TV spots. 4 young high school kids who would never actually hang out together find themselves in school detention center as punishment for other individual notorious activities. In there they find a video game and as long as they switch it on they get sucked right in the game.

Every kid gets a particular video game avatar and they follow the conquest accordingly. Dwayne Johnson is on the peak of his film career with the success ball rolling in his corner, hence he is flop-proof now. A big star like him with a famous franchise is a winner call but getting his foot in the comedy has never been rock’s forte. Kevin Hart on the other hand is known for his comedic timing but he might be using a little less cuss words going by the rating of that film. Since the film has already released in U.S., the word of mouth is in for the favor Jack Black.

Jack Black is playing a quirky little high school girl who turns into a middle age man and his comedic efforts are widely appreciated. Black is known for embarking on the more entertaining side of cinema since the School of Rock. Karen Gillan could be living in the fear of getting overshadowed by these hugely popular actors but she must make her presence felt as her role in the original was very distinguished and brainy. There is no version of this film which should be dark and gritty and it looks that makers are also playing safe on the ground. Jumanji will release on 29 September in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
