Jitendra Nokewal loved Ladakh sojourn (TV Snippets)

TV actor Jitendra Nokewal, who is currently seen in “Vani Rani”, took a break and travelled to Ladakh last week. He says he absolutely fell in love with the place.

“I wanted to escape the hustle and bustle and to witness absolute silence. So last week, I packed the bags, switched off my mobile and went to Ladakh. I fell head over heels in love and lost my heart in the high altitude wonderland of Ladakh,” Jitendra said in a statement.

The actor visited Tso Moriri lake, Nubra Valley, Magnetic hill and Gurdwara Pathar Sahib, among other places.

“The best was ‘Tanglang La top’, which is the world’s second highest motorable road. We also scaled Khardung La Pass and felt that we were on top of the world,” he said.

Aasiya Kazi believes every cloud has a silver lining

Actress Aasiya Kazi was supposed to play the lead role in “Yaariyan” on Life OK but, due to a revamp, the show got scrapped. She is now looking forward to playing performance-oriented roles.

“Although the life of an actor looks rosy, the fact is that we face several ups and downs. We all know how unpredictable life can be, especially if you are working in the entertainment industry,” Aasiya said in a statement.

The actress, who has previously seen in shows like “Bandini”, “Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha” and “Balika Vadhu”, says she felt upset when she came to know her show got scrapped.

“I believe every cloud has a silver lining and I know God has something better planned for me,” she added.

Commenting on the type of roles she is looking forward to play now, Aasiya said: “I am open to do any kind of role, unless and until its performance oriented. I am bit greedy when it comes to acting, I would love to explore new genres and play variety of roles.”

Dancing keeps Namish Taneja fit and healthy

Actor Namish Taneja, who will soon be seen in the upcoming show “Ikyawann”, says his first love dancing keeps him fit.

As he is shooting round-the-clock for Star Plus’s upcoming show, he often fails to go to the gym on a regular basis. So, he resorts to dance.

“After rigorous shooting hours, it’s not always possible to hit the gym. As dancing is my passion, so to stay fit, I shake a leg whenever I can,” he said.

“I believe it’s one of the most entertaining ways of body workout without the need to lift hundreds of kilos. It not only help me to stay fit, but also revives me and is like a stress buster,” the “Swaragini” actor added.

B-boying is Namish’s forte, and he believes it’s a super cool way to burn calories.

“If you love to be in shape, start learning B-boying. Trust me, you will have a great time doing it,” he said.
