The most anticipated movie of the time, Jab Harry Met Sejal is in the theatres now and people have liked the movie also. But then also the movie couldn’t meet the expectations of the people completely. The Imtiaz Ali directorial are generally the ones which gross well at the Box office but this one could only make a collection of Rs 16.5 crore on its first day at the domestic box-office, keeping in mind the past movies of SRK like Raees.
Although, it grossed Rs 16.5 crore, at the same time it is also true that it is now the fourth highest opening day grosser at the Indian box-office. It is behind Baahubali 2: The Conclusion and Salman Khan’s Tubelight that got released recently. As per the reports, the movie recently opened across 3200 screens in the country.
If we compare with other movie of ShahRukh Khan, then it is ShahRukh’s lowest film in recent past. The movie Jab Harry Met Sejal got mixed response from the people and in fact the Trade Ananlyst Taran Adarsh too tweeted the movie as being unimpressive one. The fact behind the movie could not meet the expectations may be the boring and usual script and Anushka Sharma’s struggle to make right Gujarati pronunciations and accent which looked fake.

Jab Harry Met Sejal revolves around the story of a tourist guide and a Gujarati girl who is in need of guidance. They meet up fall in love with other while roaming with each other in search of an engagement ring that Sejal’s fiance gave him. Harry understands the importance of love and relationships in one’s life and helps her in finding the lost ring.
