Ittefaq Box office Collection: The film is expected to grow over weekends

The thriller Bollywood film, Ittefaq, which came earlier this week opened the box-office at a slow start with a collection of Rs. 4.05 crores but is expected to gain over the weekend. Under the directorial work of Abhay Chopra, the film is bankrolled by multiple producers which include Shah Rukh Khan, Karan Johar, Gauri Khan, Renu Ravi Chopra, and Hiroo Yash Johar.

The plot of the film is an interesting one of solving the murder mystery of two suspects, in which Sonakshi Sinha, playing the role of Maya, a young homemaker, and  Sidharth Malhotra, British writer, and NRI are trapped by the investigative officer, Akshaye Khanna. The film has shot the whole in the circles of Mumbai with the team. Under the banner of Red Chillies Entertainment and Dharma Productions, the film’s title song gained a lot of popularity which is the remake of Bappi Lehri’s Ratt bhaki, Baat Bhaki. The new song is “Ittefaq Se (Raat Baaki)” by Jubin Nautiyal, Nikhita Gandhi.

Though the film is inspired by the 1969 film by the same name Ittefaq which featured Rajesh Khanna and directed by Yash Chopra. Also, the lower collection is even because of the Hollywood clash of  Marvel Studios, Thor: Ragnarok, which by far has collected a total of  Rs.9.91 crores on its opening day, which is one of the grand openings of the Hollywood film in India.  All we wish for grand collection over the week for the film. Trade analyst, Taran Adarsh, took his Twitter account to share the first-day box-office collection of the film.
