Irrfan Khan’s rare tumor can be removed surgically depending on many factors

Couple of days ago Irrfan Khan took to twitter and mentioned that he has a rare disease and shall bring the name in real soon as soon as he is confirmed about it, well now he is. He again coped up with micro blogging website and wrote, “Life is under no obligation to give us what we expect”.– Margaret Mitchell. The unexpected makes us grow, which is what the past few days have been about. Learning that I have been diagnosed with NeuroEndocrine Tumour as of now has admittedly been difficult, but the love and strength of those around me and that I found within me has brought me to a place of hope. The journey of this is taking me out of the country, and I request everyone to continue sending their wishes. As for the rumours that were floated NEURO is not always about the brain and googling is the easiest way to do research 😉 To those who waited for my words, I hope to be back with more stories to tell.”

Irrfan has never battled a tumor like this but NeuroEndocrine can be removed from the body surgically depending on the size and origin of it. This happens because of abnormal growth inside the body usually seen in intestine and pancreas. The medical treatment is totally dependent on where Irrfan’s tumor is found and under what state but the actor has said that he will be flying broad for the treatment and requires all the love and prayers coming his way. He is not only prolific at his craft but also one of the most well known actors in the world who has worked in both India and America in important characters. Irrfan had a film with Vishal Bharadwaj in the pipeline co-starring Deepika Padukone but it needs to wait till the man is fit again.
