The film, Indu Sarkar which also features Neil Nitin Mukesh as Sanjay Gandhi plus actress Supriya Vinod as  Indira Gandhi and is all set to hit the theatres on July 28. Indu Sarkar casts comprise Kirti Kulkarni as Indu, and whole Indu Sarkar story revolves around her which showcases Indu is an orphan, who lost her parents when she was a child. She stammers and also loves to write poetry. She grew up in an orphanage with an only aim is to have an elegant house and get married, and ultimately she finds all of them. The most significant part is how she stands up for herself.

All placed throughout the emergency period amid 1975 – 1977, Indu Sarkar is entirely based on the 21-month extended period, when the then Prime Minister of India, Indira Gandhi had unilaterally affirmed a state of emergency crossways the country.
