Harshvardhan Kapoor would go through intense transformation to portray Abhinav Bindra

Harshvardhan Kapoor will be going through some really intense transformation to portray Olympian Abhinav Bindra. Harsh started his career in 2016 being directed by Rakesh Omprakash Mehra in ‘Mirzya. Film did not took off well but Harsh was praised a lot to deliver such intensity in his very first movie. As of today, he is awaiting the release of his very unique superhero film ‘Bhavesh Joshi’, which will be coming out on 1 June. Harsh will be battling it out on that release date with sister Sonam Kapoor as she is rbinging her passion project ‘Veere Di Wedding’ which was in works for quite sometime.

Harsh will be losing about 10 kgs to play the young Bindra and will also have to grab obsessive athletic spirit that an Olympian must carry to achieve that kind of a goal. He looks remarkably like Bindra and will be getting rid of his beard for the first time on screen to harness the role. Bindra is one of the best shooter in the world as his stance is incomparable which he developed over his entire life and Harsh will be getting it in a matter of few months. The actual preparation will begin post the release of Bhavesh Joshi.

He will be collaborating with his superstar dad Anil Kapoor on screen in the same capacity as real life. Anil will portray Bindra’s father and perhaps that was a complex relationship. To become an athlete of gold standard is not a play and only a few have managed to do so. Farhan Akhtar was very convincing as Milkha Singh because he worked his guts out on that part and so did the girls in ‘Dangal’. A shooter needs to have a breathtaking eye and unbelievable control over his breath because they shoot in between the seconds of non-breathing.
