After all the romantic tracks of the upcoming movie Half Girlfriend, now the directors of the movie have released a new dance track ‘Mere Dil Mein’. Mohit Suri’s films are known for its brilliant music over the years and the filmmaker is hoping to recreate a similar album with his next directorial venture ‘Half Girlfriend’ starring Arjun Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor.
The film seems like an intense love story and living up to the theme, the first three songs of the album, ‘Baarish’, ‘Phir Bhi Tum Ko Chahunga’ and ‘Thodi Der’ were romantic tracks.
In the first part of the film ,we could see that Shraddha Kapoor(Ria) is least interested in Madhav Jha(Arjun Kapoor), but slowly when we move forward towards the songs of the movie, we could see that Ria is taking interest in Madhav. Looking at his innocence and purity she is slowly falling in love with him.
In this song, Mere Dil Mein, Shraddha and Arjun seem to forget the concept of Half Girlfriend and fully enjoy with each other. They enjoy every bit of their life with each other and fall in love purely.
As seen in the trailer, we see Arjun’s character Madhav completely smitten by Shraddha’s character Riya, as he struggles with his unimpressive English skills and the tag of half girlfriend that she gives him, in his quest to gain her love.
He, however, manages to impress her with his basketball skills.
Arjun might be seen roaming around frantically in America in the trailer, but he is seen in full hip-hop style grooving along with Shraddha in the streets of New York in the song.
The song has been composed by Rishi Rishi and sung by Veronica Mehta & Yash Narvekar. The movie is set to release on 19th may, 2017. Stay tuned till then!!
