Haider, Raees Actor Narendra Jha dies from heart attack

Narendra Jhan, an character actor who featured in many Bollywood movies in supporting roles has died from a heart attack. He was 55 years old. Narendra gave a critically acclaimed performance in Haider, which was directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, and in which he played the role of Shahid Kapoor’s father. His performances was hailed as one of the best supporting turns of 2014. Apart from Haider, her has worked in many mainstream movies, inlcuding Shah Rukh Khan’s Raees and Hrithik Rosahn’s Kaabil. Narendra suffered from his third heart attack this morning, and was at his farm house in Wada. Celebrities, like Sonu Sood gave tribute to the actor, writing that he was a lovely human being and praying that his soul rests in peace. He was an alumni of Jawaharlal Nehru Unviversity, Delhi, and later traveled to Mumbai because he wanted to become an actor.

The director of Raees, Rahul Dholakia, wrote on twitter about his shock at the sudden demise of the actor. Slowly, wishes for the peace of soul for the actor and the condolences to his family began to trickle on the social media, as people began to express their shock at his death.

It seems that apart from being a great actor, Narendra Jha was also a very good human being who had a lovely relationship with anyone whom he worked with. This is another loss to the Bollywood industry, and a sad reminder that no one is beyond death.
