Guest iin London release date pushed to July 7.

The makers of the upcoming comedy Guest iin London cannot seem to decide on an appropriate release date for their film. The movie which was first scheduled to hit cinema screens on June 9 and was then moved to June 16 will finally release on July 7 now. The makers released a new poster today to make the announcement. Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh and the film’s leading man Kartik Aaryan tweeted about the same. Taran Adarsh wrote, ” #GuestIinLondon gets a new release date: 7 July 2017… Here’s the new poster:”

Kartik Aaryan who made his bollywood debut with Pyaar Ka Punchnama in 2011 shared a picture of him with his co-star from the film Paresh Rawal.

Guest Iin London is a comedy-drama that stars Kartik Aaryan, Paresh Rawal, Kriti Kharbanda and Tanvi Azmi. The film has been written and directed by Ashwni Dhir who has directed films like Son of Sardaar and Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge? Infact it was earlier reported that this film is a sequel to Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge, but the makers cleared the air that that wasn’t true and this was a completely fresh script.
The film is presented by Panorama Studios and Kiaan Entertainment Ltd (UK), with Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak helming the producers’ chair. These are the same people who gave us other runaway hits like Pyaar Ka Punchnama and Pyaar Ka Punchnaama 2.
While it is not clear why is the film being postponed, it has been reported that the producers took the decision in order to avoid a clash with Y-Films’ Bank Chor starring Riteish Deshmukh and Vivek Oberoi, which is releasing tomorrow. But interestingly so, Guest iin London will now clash with Sridevi’s Mom on July 7. Since Bank Chor and Guest Iin London are both comedies, the producers felt clashing with a film of a different genre is more sensible as far as the box office is concerned.
Here’s hoping the decision proves to be a wise one.
