Half Girlfriend will drench you in love with a new song ”Baarish” on of the most romantic song of the latest movie ‘Half Girlfriend’ is out. The song is sung by Ash King and Shashaa Tirupati. The lyrics of the song are extremely touchy and beautiful and also depicts the feelings of the boy Madhav for Riya and all the credits goes to the lyricists Arafat Mehmood and Tanishk Bagchi. Rains have always been synonymous with romance in Indian films and Half Girlfriend is making the most of it this season. The song captures the essence of first love and all those butterflies you feel in your stomach hen you look at your beloved.
The song which features lead pair Arjun Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor are sure to put the movie theatres on fire on 19th May, 2017. Half Girlfriend has managed to give its viewers a hummable number, and as Arjun had said earlier, “Baarish” helps in the progression of its story. However, it clearly showcases the class difference between Madhav Jha (played by Arjun) and Riya Somani (played by Shraddha). “Baarish” depicts the college crush of Madhav, who is drooling over Riya, a high-society student of St. Stephen’s, but she is unaware about his love and does not care about this boy who is lurking around her.
Considering that Mohit Suri has a good ear for music, since his previous films like Ek Villain and Aashiqui 2 had brilliant soundtracks, Half Girlfriend too is expected to impress us. ‘Baarish’ is certainly one of the most anticipated romantic songs from the film especially after two posters which had the lead pair enjoying in the rains has garnered great response. The song is expected to become a rage just like ‘Tum Hi Ho’ of Aashiqui and we have to say the whole rainy feel does remind us of that.
Produced by Balaji Motion Pictures, Mohit Suri and Chetan Bhagat, Half Girlfriend is a cinematic adaptation of Chetan Bhagat’s novel of the same name. Directed by Mohit Suri, the film is slated to release on 19th May.
