A couple of weeks ago, we shared with you the first look of India’s first punjabi superhero ‘Super Singh’ played by the current heartthrob of the nation Diljit Dosanjh. Today we bring to you the first motion poster and Trailer of Super Singh featuring Sonam Bajwa along with Diljit Dosanjh. The actor took to his social media accounts to reveal the new poster.

The poster features both Sonam Bajwa and Diljit Dosanjh in capes tied around their necks and masquerades. The goofy superhero vibe adds to the appeal of the film which looks like quite a joyride.
It has also been revealed that the much awaited trailer will be out today evening at 7pm, much to the rejoice of Diljit Dosanjh fans, who expressed their joy on social media. The actor is currently touring across Canada for his live shows.
The movie is produced by Balaji Motion Pictures (who is making its foray into Punjabi cinema with Super Singh) and Bratt Films Production, with Anurag Singh in the director’s chair. Sonam Bajwa also plays a pivotal role in the film opposite Diljit.
Anurag Singh, who shot to fame with his films Jatt & Juliet and Punjab 1984 shares a close camaraderie with Diljit Dosanjh after having worked together in the past. The director says, “I have worked with Diljit bhaji in 4-5 films. We both know each other’s strengths and weaknesses; there is no formality between us.” Incidentally, this is Diljit’s second collaboration with Balaji and Ekta Kapoor, the first being the critically acclaimed ‘Udta Punjab’ which highlighted the drug menace in Punjab. They seem to have taken the comic route with this collaboration and we cannot wait for the trailer to be out this evening.
