Dhruv Sharma, the famous Kannada actor and cricketer passed away on Tuesday morning in a private hospital in Bengaluru. The actor passed away due to multiple-organ failure. As he was 37 years only, everyone from his family to friends are in shock. The actor gained attention after he proved his terrific batting skills during the Celebrity Cricket League(CCL). He was believed to be a star player of Karnataka Bulldozers and won the championship twice under the captaincy of actor Kichcha Sudeep. His family and colleagues from the industry are believed to be in a state of shock as nobody was at all aware that he was suffering from such a serious health issue that led to his fatal. The cause of his collapse at his residence on Saturday is still not clear. He was rushed to Columbia Asia Hospital where he took his last breath on the wee hours of Tuesday.
Coming to his personal life, Dhruv’s father was a businessman turned actor Suresh Sharma. Dhruv got his first break in the year 2006 with his performance in the movie Snehanjali which surprisingly entered the Guinness Book of Records and the Limca Book of Records for featuring a speech and hearing-impaired person that too in the lead role. He also played for India in Deaf Cricket World Cup in 2005 and Dhruv became a household name after his stunning performance in CCL.
The Bollywood celebrities and the film fraternity who got the opportunity to meet him at the time of CCL tournaments have expressed shock and condolences over the untimely and unexpected death of such a talented person. He also played for Karnataka team in CCL for all the six seasons. Actor Riteish Deshmukh took to his Twitter account to pay condolence to the actors stating, “Am so heart broken, shaken beyond words. My dearest Dhruv Sharma you will be missed forever brother. Thank you for ur warm hugs & love. #RIP,”

The actor is survived by his parents, wife and two daughters. May his soul rest in peace!!
