Prabhudeva is going to direct Salman Khan in Danbangg 3, which is going to be the third movie in the successful franchise about inspector Chulbul Pandey. There had been many rumors around the project and other directors had been attached to the project, but Prabhu confirmed that he is going to helm the movie. Prabhu has finalized all the details regarding the movie. According to Pradbhudeva, Salman asked him to direct the project, and because he has a personal relationship with the star, he couldn’t say no to him. Prabhu has also confirmed that Sonakshi Sinha and Arbaaz Khan are both going to return for the third installment as well.
Prabudeva previously directed Salman in Wanted, a movie that not only changed his image as an action star for the century, it also made him even more popular to the general audiences that the actor then followed up with Dabangg, another hit movie.
The movie will reportedly start shooting in July, and it could also release in this year, joining Salman’s Race three, another successful franchise. With almost every cast member returning, it will be interesting to see where the makers take the movie this time, and who is going to play the inevitable villain who loses to Salman in the climax of the movie. Although Dabangg movie’s are predictable in their outcomes, they are still enjoyed by the audiences mainly for their entertainment value, escapism and the wonderful songs.
