Chef Pre Review, Saif Ali Khan’s takes a trip to reconnect with his son

Chef, the comedy drama movie starring Saif Ali khan is being released this Friday, and the movie has gathered a lot of buzz around it, across the social media and in critics’ circles. It is a remake of the movie of the same name, but it looks that it has been able to separate itself from its successful source by going full-blown desi and the result looks like a very heart-warming tale of a father reconnecting with his son. The movie also stars Telegu actress, Padmapriya Janakiraman, and other actors, like Dinesh Prabhakar, Chandan Roy Sanyal and even Kareena Kapoor Khan has a cameo in the movie.

The movie was shot in the exotic locations of Kochi and looks to be visually stunning, with coconut trees flanking the roads and the glorious sunsets that are beautifully realized by cinematographer Priya Seth. The actors also look to be having fun, Saif and Padampriya look genuinely relaxed in their roles while the relationship between the father and son also seems to have been developed with warmth and nuance other than resorting to cheap theatrics and sentimentality.

The movie is scheduled to release on 6th October 2017 and is being touted as a very good family drama with an important message to follow ones desire and reconnecting with family members.
