Channa Mereya release date finalized

The release date of the Punjabi movie Channa Mereya is finally out. The movie has been presented by White Hill Studios and Zee Studios. The movie is a romantic saga starring Ninja, Amrit Naan, Payal Rajput, Karamjit Anmol, BN Sharma and Yograj Singh who are newcomers to the industry. When the first look poster of the movie was released, Zee studios took to its official Twitter account to share the poster.

If rumours are to be believed then it is been said that the movie is a remake of the super hit Marathi film ‘Sairat’ which is being directed by Nagraj Manjule in April 2016. The makers of the movie have made it official that the movie will be released on 14th July, 2017.

The film has been directed by Pankaj Batra who is known for films like ‘Goreyan Nu Daffa Karo’, ‘Channo Kamli Yaar Di’ & ‘Bambukat’ and has been produced by Gunbir Singh Sidhu, Manmord Sidhu in association with Zee Studios.
