White Hill Studios and Zee Studios presented movie Channa Mereya is an upcoming Punjabi movie with some of the newcomers as part of the movie. The cast of the movie includes, Ninja, Amrit Maan and Payal Rajput. The movie also casts the old comers of the industry Karamjit Anmol, BN Sharma and Yograj Singh. The Zee Studios Official Twitter account took the honor share the first look poster of the movie which grabbed a lot of attention. The movie is rumored to be a remake of the super hit Marathi movie Sairat which was being directed by Nagraj Manjule which released in April 2016 but there has been no confirmation to this so far, from the makers of Channa Mereya.
The movie has been directed by Pankaj Batra who is famous for his movies like ‘Goreyan Nu Daffa Karo’, ‘Channo Kamli Yaar Di’ & ‘Bambukat’ and has been produced by Gunbir Singh Sidhu, Manmord Sidhu in association with Zee Studios. If we talk about the budget of the movie then we can say that the movie has been made with an estimate of Rs 60,000,000 and the running time of the movie is 132 minutes that is 2.2 hours.
The movie also marks the entry of the two singers in the Punjabi Film Indusrty that is Ninja and Amrit Maan. With great music and awesome story, the movie is sure to make a great impact and will surely have a great fan following as the movie released today at your nearest movie theatres.
