‘Chanda Mama Door Ke: After Sushant Singh Rajput, Madhavan Seen At NASA Facility

India’s first space movie ‘Chanda Mama Door Ke’ seems to be taking research for its movie seriously. After Sushant Singh Rajput was seen at the NASA’s Space and Rocket Centre in Alabama, apparently training for his role as an astronaut in the upcoming movie, it was the other actor in the movie, Madhavan Nair, who was now seen at the facility talking to a scientist with a space suit in the background.

The picture was shared by trade analyst Taran Adarsh on his Twitter feed who wrote: “Madhavan gears for his role as astronaut and trains at NASA for #ChandaMamaDoorKe. Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan directs. Viki Rajani produces.” Madhavan is currently staying in Alabama, and has been training with various space suits including learning about their functionality.

Sushant, who has completed his crash course in astronaut training before Madhavan, shared his surreal experience on Twitter, saying that as a former engineering student, it was a unique experience working at the one of the world’s most advanced technology labs. The actor also shared a snapshot from his training, captioned: “Living your dream is the walk between what should be done and what could be done using ‘maybe’s as your signposts.”

The movie, directed by Sanjay Singh Chauhan, is set for a release next year on Republic Day. The movie apparently is inspired by the Stanley Kubrick 1968 classic 2001 : Space Odyssey, and is set to be the first Bollywood that goes to outer space.
