The trailer for the action thriller, Bhavesh Joshi Superhero is going to be released today, but before that, a new poster from the movie has been released, and finally, we can see the face of the man behind that mask, Harshvardhan Kapoor. All the posters that have been released from the movie have been highly stylish, and closely follow the template of comic books, which suits the movie, since the teaser showed the choreographed violence and the visuals that complimented the sketches of the comic book superhero stories. But, the movie seems to be going for a more serious tone, as the voice over in the teaser showcased, that the protagonist is a justice seeking vigilante who fights with the criminals at night.
Bhavesh Joshi Superhero is directed by Vikramaditya Motwane, who has directed critically acclaimed movies like Udaan, Lootera and Trapped. All three movies were from a different genre, and Bhavesh Joshi Superhero seems to be a big genre leap for the director, since his movies are often cited to be artful and slow.
And even the teaser showed how beautifully choreographed the action is, so it seems that India could get a really great superhero movie, one in which the character doesn’t posses the superpowers, but is instead led by his will to get justice for the people. The movie is going to be released on May 25 2018.
