Baahubali 2: The Conclusion doesn’t seem to stop with its box office domination. It has been three weeks since S.S. Rajamouli’s Prabhas starrer magnum opus hit movie screens worldwide and box office records were broken left, right and centre, with no looking back. The film’s official twitter handle tweeted about the film’s new milestone of grossing 1500 crores at the worldwide box office.

Ramesh Bala who is an industry trade tracker and media strategist, tweeted about the movies gross and net breakup in India and the overseas total at the box office.

Film critic and trade analyst termed this feat “sensational”. He also tweeted about how Baahubali was ‘setting new benchmarks’ and setting box office records that seem ‘unbeatable’ and ‘unconquerable’ for a while atleast.

Baahubali 2 with its Hindi version alone managed to break the box office record of Aamir Khan’s Dangal. With 460 crore of earnings, the film is slowly marching towards the 500 crore mark. Karan Johar whose company Dharma Productions distributed the Hindi version tweeted, “The HINDI version of #BaahubaliTheConclusion marches past the 450 crore mark! Baahubali 2 which is a revenge drama, has been made on a budget of approximately Rs. 250 crore with a cast comprising of Prabhas, Anushka Shetty, Ramya Krishnan, Rana Daggubati and Sathyaraj among others. The film boasts of never- seen-before visual effects in Indian cinema. In fact, the budget of the sequel was increased seeing the tremendous success and fan following of the first Baahubali film released in 2015, which ended on a cliff hanger and left audiences gasping with the question “Why Kattappa Killed Baahubali?”.
