Batti Gul Meter Chalu is the upcoming Bollywood Movie starrer Shahid Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor. With a promising story-line and a strong cast, the film is considered as one of the most-anticipated films of 2018. Shahid Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor and Yami Gautam starrer ‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu’ directed by Shree Narayan Singh will release on 21st September 2018 as opposed to its old release date which was 14th September. Two days ago, it was announced that the film will shift its release from the initial date of August 31st to 14th September. And now just within a week, the release date has been postponed yet and ‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu’ will now release on the 21st of September.

‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu’ is based on bringing the social issue of electricity shortage to the notice of people and to encourage authorities to investigate the inaccuracies of electricity bills, developed by Authorities. The major parts of the film were shot in Uttarakhand, Tehri, and Mumbai, the film is produced by Shree Narayan Singh, Nitin Chandrachud, Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Kusum Arora and Nishant Pitti.
