Anushka Shetty’s Bhaagamathie trailer seems horrifying

Horrifying trailer of Bhaagamathie starring Anushka Shetty in the lead role has jst come out and Shetty seems to be playing for the masses again after Baahubali. Bhaagamathie seems to be a psychological thriller merged with the classic Haveli ghost of horror genre. Anushka seems to be living a good family life till an incident happens and she gets wrongfully convicted for the crime she never did. After being taken to the jail, certain corrupt people decide to kill her and show it death by accident hence they take her in a haunted house where she meets her fate.

The house is not just haunted in the stories it is actually possessed by a ghost that looks like Anushka of previous generation. Going by the trailer the story of ghost could entirely be in the head of Anushka because certain psychological game being played in her head like Vidya Balan in Akshay Kumar’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa. The trailer did not give an exact hint if it could be an actual horror or a psychological thriller disguised as horror until Anushka got transformed into the ghost and delivered some mass lines in order to scare daylights out of other people in the house.

Anushka Shetty’s career graph is at it’s pinnacle now post the extreme success of Baahubali and her character Devasena. She did not have the length in her role in Baahubali: he Beginning but as it turned out she is the original female lead of the film in Baahubali: The Conclusion. Anushka’s character was really powerful and her screen presence in the film was outrageous. As it turns out producer also think that she is now star enough to take the whole film on her shoulders without the presence of a male superstar which is how most Telugu films are. Her performance seems to be very theatrical and emotionally out there as she is giving dialogues looking right in the camera.
