American Assassin movie review: Dylan O’Brien action thriller tale

American Assassin is an American action thriller that is directed by Michael Cuesta and written by Stephen Schiff, Edward Zwick, Marshall Herskovitz and Michael Finch. It is the first new action franchise that inspired by author Vince Flynn’s best selling novel based on hot headed CIA-adjacent brute Mitch Rapp. American Assassin movie is so close mouthed and macho that blends with the fun of Bourne, Bond, and Taken. It features Dylan O’Brien along with Shiva Negar, Taylor Kitsch, Sanaa Lathan and Marshall Herskovitz in the lead role. It is kind of thrilling and action based movie that entertain audiences with different twists.

The plot of the American Assassin is based on a terrorist-killing tough guy who bleeds like “If you’re not busy living, you’re dying.” It is a contemporary story in which Rapp and fiancée haven’t gotten to clink cocktails when Muslim terrorists led by Adnan Al-Mansur machine-gun the resort. The Tourist corpses flop onto white outdoor mattresses and Katrina is pierced through the heart, dead-center of her innocent white bikini. It is a story of a grizzled professional whose high school sweetheart died in the 1988 Lockerbie bombing on 9/11.

It is a fun filled movie to watch the three actors swap war stories over beers. It has good action and romance combination to watch on this weekend.
