So now we all know what Alia Bhatt’s next venture is. The 24 year old Bollywood diva and actress of several hits and critically acclaimed films has now officially announced her next project. She will now feature in Meghna Gulzar’s next Raazi opposite Vicky Kaushal. The film revolves around a Kashmiri Muslim girl (played by Alia) who is married to a Pakistani army official (played by Vicky). The film is set in the late sixties. The film is based on Harinder Sikka’s novel, Calling Sehmat. The film is being produced by Junglee Pictures and Dharma Productions. The shoot for the film is expected to start in July, and will take place in Kashmir and Punjab.
Alia is pretty excited to play the role in the film and shared the news with her fans and followers on Twitter.

The other lead Vicky Kaushal also reportedly is ‘honored’ to get a chance to work with Meghna Gulzar.

Vicky Kaushal, who is best known for his performance in the award-winning film Masaan, is currently working on Rajkumar Hirani’s next Sanjay Dutt biopic. He has added in his statement to media about Raazi that he looks forward to shooting after he complete the Dutt biopic.
