Bollywood celebrities have now reacted to the smog situation in Delhi and have shown concern and horror about the incidents and accidents that are occurring because of the heavy smog that have covered all of Delhi and NCR. The situation is severe and the smoke is hazardous for children, elders and people suffering from breathing problems. Actress Alia bhatt expressed her shock at the recent Yamuna Expressway accident, and actor Arjun Kapoor was also horrified about the video of the accident that is now making the rounds of the social media. Parineeti Chopra also posted a photograph on her twitter account, wearing a mask and telling people that we can’t do this to our planet earth.
It is good to see the famous people showing that they really do care about common people and aren’t as aloof or disconnected to the world as we might like to believe. They are aware of the conditions in Delhi and are trying to make it fine for people who are facing such hardships in Delhi.
Other celebrities have also objected to the state of environment in Delhi and asked the government to do something, or take steps to ensure that such thing never happens again.
