Abhay Deol starrer ‘Nanu Ki Jaanu’ trailer out and it is revolutionary in a dystopian world

Abhay Deol and Patralekha are coming up with a horror comedy titled ‘Nanu Ki Jaanu’ which has the most basic plot line ever with a ghost coming into the house and creating a situation from which one can derive humor. Patralekha is playing the ghost and she is barely even there in the trailer as most of screen time is eaten up Abhay and his friend’ character. This does look like a B-grade film with a million year old jokes and forced exaggeration in the performance by being mere loud.

Abhay has complained so often about not wanting to do mediocre films as his artistic capabilities are beyond mere mortals but than he came up with this fractured audio-video footage that could not have sounded good on paper as well. In his highest point of judgement doing a horror comedy with absolutely no horror and none whatsoever comedy does not sound like the sharpest decision ever. Since Golmaal Again became a blockbuster on the box office putting horror comedy genre on the map of Hindi cinema many makers thought of doing the same thing and are in search of bank.

Trailer of the film is nothing better than Scooby doo meets Phillauri and without consent. Direction and camera angles of the film seem s basic as there is no language in it plus ghost element in this one is simply not coming out to be funny enough. Abhay seems to be improvising a lot of dialogues in a bad language which is suppose to generate laugh but is not and there are a series of sequence that look like individualistic gags but an arc of a screenplay leading upto something. Title of the film gives away the ending in it’s context as both the Abhay and Patralekha’s character will fallen in love and live together .
