Aaron Carter addicted to cosmetic surgery

Singer Aaron Carter says he is addicted to cosmetic surgery and has been struggling with painkillers.

In an episode of “The Doctors”, Carter opened up about rumours that he is addicted to meth and crack cocaine, reports dailymail.co.uk.

In a two-part interview, the troubled pop star also spoke about his frequent cosmetic surgeries and need for painkillers, admitting that when he cannot get a prescription he will obtain drugs illegally off the street.

“I get fillers. Restylane, Voluma, Rejuviderm. I get all three, and I’m going to continue doing it. It makes me smile in the mirror,” he said in a video clip.

Carter’s smile then quickly turns to tears. However, as he said: “I see a pretty good looking guy, I’m just skinny… And I just want to get better.”

In a second clip, Carter details the pills he has been prescribed by his doctors, which include Xanax and Oxycodone.

“I don’t mix medications, I do it to release stress of pain or angst,” Carter said.

He later says in his sit-down interview that he does not want to be on these pills, and wishes that he was not buying them on the street, reports dailymail.co.uk.

Carter also admits that he has been forthright with his doctor about the fact that he is obtaining them illegally, and that he has nothing to hide.

“I have no problem telling exactly what it is. The truth shall set your free and my father always said that,” he said.

His appearance on the program comes after a tumultuous few months during which he came out as bisexual and was charged with marijuana possession and suspicion of driving under the influence after an arrest in Georgia.
