2.0 might be delayed yet again but most anticipated according to a poll

Film critic and analyst Ramesh Bala conducted a poll on twitter about the most anticipated movie of the year and Rajinikanth starrer ‘2.0’ crossed the poll with heavy margins. Amongst ‘2.0’, ‘Indian 2’, ‘RRR’ and ‘Thugs of Hindostan’, 2.0 received 48% response on the poll from the people on twitter. Indian 2 is a sequel to Kamal Haasan starrer Indian which was initially directed by Shankar and ended up becoming a blockbuster on the box office. Sequel to Indian is semi-official now as the film does not have a director and Shankar will not even so much as touch anything till he is totally done with 2.0

RRR is a latest announcement from the director of Baahubali franchise who goes by the name of SS Rajamouli and he has Ramcharan with NTR Junior in one film. RRR received 13% of the vote from the public on anticipation meter though last one was ‘Thugs of Hindostan’ starring Aamir Khan with 12% of votes. Ramesh Bala mostly deals with South Indian cinema hence one must say he will have more number of followers from that part of the region so they automatically will be engaged towards cinema of their language with homegrown superstars.

2.0 as a film is nothing but a havoc and would top any poll list in India at the time but Thugs might come across as a close second should the votes be counted from a region where Aamir Khan is very well known. Not many people in Northern part of the country may have even seen Indian especially young generation on twitter because it came out two decades ago in Tamil but Rajamouli is the biggest director in the country right now ‘RRR’ would get a huge response under his name and not because of NTR as he is mostly appreciated in the Southern lands. 2.0 is the most delayed and most anticipated film in current times.
