2.0 is the most awaited movie which brings Akshay Kumar and Rajnikant on the same platform for the first time. The movie has been directed by Shankar who is better known for the great success of his movie Robot. The movie has some new updates too which has been confirmed by Raju Mahaligham who is the creative head of Lyca Productions that the movie will be heading towards a grand audio launch in Dubai in the month of November and also it will also have a teaser launch in Hyderabad. Moreover, the last month of the year, December will also witness the trailer launch of the movie in Chennai.

In the movie Rajinikant will be seen returning as DR Vaseegaran and Robot Chitti. The actor also plays the lead role in the movie.
