‘102 Not Out’ teaser out starring Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor and it is heart warming

Teaser of Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor starrer ‘102 Not Out’ is out in the world and it is designed to melt hearts. Bachchan plays Kapoor’s father who is 102 years old and wants out to send his “old” son to an old age home. It will be the first time in history when a father i sending his son to old age home and it is the USP of this film. Teaser showcases a very old yet cheerful Bachchan while Kapoor’s character seemed stressed out and rather emotional about his father.

Bachchan is perhaps the most active 102 year old and still young at heart, which is why Kapoor cares that nothing should happen to him. The tonality of the film and background score is extremely feel good yet heartwarming and cinematography seems exceptionally choreographed. In the end of the dialogue less teaser, Bachchan’s character admits that he will send his son to an old age home and the reason for that could be his notorious activity or something deeper which might be revealed in the trailer or directly in the film which is will release on 4 May 2018.

Bachchan and Kapoor were the biggest superstar of their ruling area and have collaborated together in films like Amar Akbar Anthony. They are working together after 27 years and the roles assigned to them are most unique. Film is based on a Gujarati play and is directed by Umesh Shukla. Umesh’s last film Oh My God was a highly talked about venture and gathered many eyeballs on the box office due to the most sensitive topic called religion. Oh My God was also based on a Gujarati play which Paresh Rawal has performed many times before he reprised the role in film. Concept and execution of the film seems worthy for two of the biggest icons of Hindi cinema.
