UP Police vacancy 2018: Uttar Pradesh Police opens application for 41520 constable online on uppbpb.gov.in

The Applications for the post of constable in Uttar Pradesh police have been released, and there are 41,520 vacancies for the post of Reserved Citizen Police and Reserved Territorial Armed Constabulary on uppbpb.gov.in. Candidates will be able to apply for the job starting from 22 January 2018. The last date for applying is 22 February 2018. The candidates will be able to submit their forms online until 23 February 23. There are 23520 reserved seats for the post of Citizen Police, and they’re distributed in the following manner: General: 11,761 OBS: 6350 SC : 4939 ST: 470. The available seats are available for both male and female candidates who are elibigle for the post.

The reservations for the post of  Territorial Armed Constabulary are as follows: General: 9000, OBS: 4860, SC : 3780, ST : 360. For provincial Armed Constabulary only male candidates will be eligible for the application process. The pay for the post is average and reasonable, Rs.5,200-20,200- plus Grade Pay Rs.2000. The age limit is an important factor for the eligibility criterion for the posts, and the minimum age for males is 18 years while maximum age is 22 years old. For Females, the minimum age limit is 18 while the maximum age limit is 25 years old. The candidates should keep this in mind when they are filling their applications and should not write the wrong dates to be applicable for the job.

To be applicable for the post, the candidate should have at least passed 12th examination, which is essential for a person if he or she wants to apply for a government job. The application fee for the posts is Rs 400. The candidates will have to pass a written examination, a physical standard test and a physical efficiency test which will measure if they are able and healthy enough for the posts.
