UPSC Recruitment 2018 application form closes today. This application form was released on February 7 and today is the last day to apply for the same. Interested candidates must fill the application form today without any delay. No candidate will be allowed to fill the form after today. The prelims exam will be conducted on June 3, 2018. Candidate must check the eligibility criteria before one apply for the application form. The prelims exam will be of an objective type. There will be two rounds of selection. One will be the prelims exam, and the other is the mains exam. The mains exam will comprise of written and the interview round.
The qualified candidates of the prelims exam will be allowed to appear for the mains exam. Officers for IAS (Indian Administrative Service), IPS (Indian Police Service), IFS (Indian Foreign Service) and IRS (Indian Revenue Service) in India are selected from this examination and commission conducts the same every year. There will be negative marking for the wrong questions. Candidates must only appear for the questions they are sure of is right. Candidates qualifying the prelims exam will be allowed to appear for the mains exam which is scheduled to take place on September 28, 2018.
The total marks of the prelims exam are 400. The total duration of exam is two hours. The question paper will be available in two languages i.e. English as well as Hindi. Approximately half a million candidates will appear for 780 post. Candidate must visit the official website for checking all the details. The minimum educational qualification required for appearing in this exam is Graduation. Candidate has to qualify first the prelims exam and then the mains exam and finally the interview round.
